The 3rd Annual NATIVE AMERICAN TV WRITERS LAB call for submissions is now open. The lab is sponsored by NBCUniversal, Netflix, CBS Entertainment Diversity, and HBO. The NATIVE AMERICAN TV WRITERS LAB is designed to familiarize participants with the format, characters and storyline structure of television. The five week, total immersion workshop is mentored and guided by an experienced writer with industry credits. The lab will be conducted in Los Angeles, CA with a maximum of 7 writers accepted. |

![]() The T. Howard Foundation will recognize AMC Networks and Univision Communications, Inc. at its 25th Annual Diversity Awards Dinner on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Cipriani Wall Street. Both organizations are being recognized for their commitment to increasing diversity and participation of underrepresented groups and underserved communities in the media and entertainment industry. Accepting the awards at the Silver Anniversary event will be Josh Sapan, president and CEO of AMC and Randy Falco, president and CEO of Univision. The T. Howard Foundation's mission is to promote diversity in media and entertainment by increasing the number of diverse and underrepresented groups and underserved communities within the media and entertainment industry. The organization accomplishes its goals through a series of comprehensive programs for college students. They include nationwide internship programs, talent development programs and diversity advancement programs. ![]() 29th Annual Media Awards When the 29th Annual GLAAD Media Awards takes place on April 12, 2018, in Los Angeles and again on May 5, 2018, in New York, two of the honorees will be Gloria Carter (and her son Jay Z. Carter) who bravely came out on her son's critically acclaimed track "Smile," from his Grammy nominated album 4:44. |
