A Message from Michelle Ray, Acting Executive Director
As the Walter Kaitz Foundation prepares for its 35th Anniversary Fundraising Dinner on October 17, 2018, it is fitting that we take time to reflect on how far our industry has come as it relates to diversity and inclusion, and how we hope to lead as we look towards the future.

This year's dinner theme, "Diversity Through the Decades," provides us with an opportunity to look back and see how inspiring our industry's innovators and pioneers were in making the commitment to weave diversity into the fabric of a then growing industry. Icons like Betsy Magness, Ralph Baruch, Ted Turner, Richard Munro, Bill Daniels and Ralph Roberts were leaders in extolling the necessity for diversity in the 'cable' business.
